Stephenie: So what is Kuota?
Patrice Lemieux: Kuota is an Italian brand from Albiate, Italy. We've been around since 2000s. We're producing high end roads triathlon bikes and mountain bike.
Stephenie: I see that every bicycle has a different name.
Patrice Lemieux: Yes.
Stephenie: Can you talk to us about that?
Patrice Lemieux: Sure, like for instance, this bike here was the replica of the Pro Team Kodak Gallery-Sierra Nevada in the US. This bike is called the Kuota Kredo and Kredo means I'm a believer.
Stephenie: I am a believer.
Patrice Lemieux: This is the Conquerer and you can see that bike is very stylish, some guys say at one point, that bike has more curve than Pamela Anderson.
Stephenie: Oh! Watch out!
Patrice Lemieux: Exactly, watch out! The name of the Kebel is from this slang from North of Italy, it means, oh, it's beautiful! Kebelo, kebela, so --
Stephenie: No, it is a really beautiful bicycle and it looks so lightweight. How heavy are these bicycles?
Patrice Lemieux: Those could vary from 10-12 pounds to 18. I would say that $2500 bike will be around 18 pounds.
Stephenie: Yeah, indeed, very lightweights. How about this seat? I see that the seat is very narrow, so I'm just imagining that it must not be super comfortable, but yet, it has a certain purpose.
Patrice Lemieux: Certain purpose, a good saddle doesn't mean that this saddle will be really good for you or it will be good for me. It's like a personal fit, like a pair of shoes.
Stephenie: This is for women and I guess it's for women because it's pink.
Patrice Lemieux: Yeah. The women need to have a larger pelvian area, so also for the comfort because the friction on a woman is different than a man. The bones, the pelvian bone is very different in I would say a worse position.

Stephenie: Okay, so now we're talking with Dominique about helmets. Is the cheap helmets just as good as an expensive one?
Dominique: Yes, absolutely. All the cheaper helmets are even highly price points, give you the same protection, even racing helmets or even helmets for kids.
Stephenie: What's there in helmets? Is there anything that we should take into account to it?
Dominique: Carbon fiber inserts that will give more stiffness to the structure of the helmet. One thing is very important, is the ventilation. When you wear a helmet for one hour, two hour, six hours, you want good ventilation, you want very good fits or something that is very comfortable.
Stephenie: Whereas if you a buy cheaper helmet, it won't be as comfortable for longer periods of time.
