Hi! I am Bob from Toronto, Canada. This guitar lesson is about how to play the guitar solo from “In The Flesh” by Pink Floyd from the Wall album. And it is easy enough for beginner guitarist to learn. I will play the guitar solo first with the backing guitar track and then I will show how to play the solo note for note. Here it goes.
[Guitar Demonstration]
The solo is played on the 6th and 5th strings. First note is on the 5th string open then on the 5th string 3rd fret bent up and the 2nd fret and open, then the 6th string 4th fret, and 2nd fret. 5th string 4th fret bent up, then bend down to the same spot, 2nd fret open. Bend up at the 3rd fret, 2nd fret open. 6th string 4th fret, 2nd fret and the 5th string 4th fret bent up, striking position 4th fret, 2nd fret open the 5th string. Bend up at the 3rd fret, 2nd fret open on the 5th string then set the 5th string 1st fret and 2nd fret. Bend up at the 4th fret strike their position 4th fret, 2nd fret, 3rd fret, 4th fret. Bend up at the 6th fret the 5th string, 5th fret, 4th fret and the top 6th string open. Play it with an E chord there too, then an A which is the open 5th string, and that is the solo.
I will play my acoustic guitar if you want to follow along. I will give you my A note here if you want to tune to my guitar, and here it is again. Okay, so now you can play the solo and I will play the chords behind it, okay? 1, 2, 3, 4.

Well, I hope this lesson has been helpful and thanks for watching.
