Hi! I am Bob from Toronto, Canada. This guitar lesson is about how to play the “Immigrant Song” by Led Zeppelin.
The opening riff is played on the top string 2nd fret, and on the 4th string 4th fret, and it goes back and forth like this.

When played at the regular speed is like this.

You want to practice that slowly as the picking is a little tricky. You have to jump over to the 8th string to get the picking right. So, the opening riff is --

And then it is A, E, E, A, back to the riff, then it is A, B, B, and C. And back to the riff.
[Guitar Demonstration]
And for the ending it is the same riff.
[Guitar Demonstration]
And the chord at the end is a C9 which is 5th string 3rd fret, 4th string 2nd fret, 3rd string 3rd fret, and the 2nd string 3rd fret.
So you play the riff.
[Guitar Demonstration]
Then drown the chord.
[Guitar Demonstration]
That is pretty much the whole song. As a suggestion, what I like to do is play it with the wah-wah pedal for a heat effect.
[Guitar Demonstration]
And so on. Also if you are going to jam on the “Immigrant Song”, you might want to get the bass player to play this part.
[Guitar Demonstration]
While the guitarist in solo in F# blues --

Mix for a good jam.
