Hi I am Bob from Toronto, Canada. This guitar lesson is part III of rock guitar solo basics. One way of soloing rock is to rewind rock new scale with the Minor scale. So, for example, if you are soloing an E blues, you can add Em scale.
Here is the E blue scale.

And here is the Em scale.

Here is an example of riff combining the two scales.
[Guitar Demonstration]
The notes in Em scale are E, F#, G, A, B, C, D, and E. I have a video lesson of the Minor scale in my new website which I will give at the end of this video.
The chords you can solo over those notes are Em, Am, Em, Bm, Am, Em. A good example of a song combining the Minor scale with the rock scale is “Since I’ve Been Loving You” by Led Zeppelin which goes about like this.

So, you may want to give that song listened to especially with solo.
Well, I hope this lesson was helpful. If you have any questions, please message me.
Also, I have a new guitar lesson website with 50 of my videos on it. Here it is. It is www.bobsguitarlessons.50megs.com. That is 50 my videos on it covering those topics. Bye for now.
