Okay, so let me—this is actually very nice. Zoom in a little there. If you see the mouse here, this is another physical surface. It just looks like an old part of the laptop, but it’s actually small—and you can dance on it, very nice.
I’m going to leave the default set up and I know that you experts—
Set the clock. Okay, so there it goes. Now this remote control—so I’m not actually going to open this, keep it over there. There is control there. And it’s got some media center button, numeric buttons on there and DVD buttons and everything else. So we got on the front, we got microphones which are here. We’ve got a webcam and a webcam light. We’ve got webcam rotator set. So I think we can actually rotate this, I’m not quite sure about that. Let’s have a look at that a bit later. We’ve got internal display switch look at that. Touch pads which you see, the touch pad on there, remote control and the speakers.
We’ve got array of buttons on here, it’s actually—we’ve got a quick play buttons that use the HP machine really quickly and for this it launch HP zone, Media Center UI which is called quick play. We got mini buttons in there. We got a TV play button, and touch pad control, data print, data mode button and wireless volume—treble and bass, and optical dial button and eject button which on the side there which is quite nice.
So, Vista is showing up for the first time. So I’m actually installing HP’s custom software. I’ll tell you about that sounds. Let’s see what this is set—custom set up. Okay, I’ve got a registered license. I’m not actually going to register. Okay, here we are, Vista is loading. It looks like we have got a Norton preinstalled. Let’s fire up. Media center, so we’re back in custom set up.
So that’s media center, you can see it’s a really clear, beautiful looking screen. It has got all of that and it looks with any content with inadequate look at, just to see what media center is like. Okay, I got the standard stuff in there, so let’s try vertigo. This is a beautiful looking screen you can adjust that on quite nicely. So you can get that the best angle you want. Sound on it sounds superb as well, really good quality audio. Let’s find something—really great. We can see Beethoven. Great sound I should say, well dynamic.
So, I will go into more detail on this on future video. I need to get a look around it and see, to see what it’s got on it. But some spec it’s Vista Ultimate, Intel Core 2 Extreme, running at 2.8 gigahertz, 4 gig of RAM and GeForce 800M GTS. And just let’s quickly see the Vista index on that, this is running in a 64 bit version as well as Windows, 5.1 on the Vista index that’s pretty good. Let’s have a look at that, so of course if it gets 5.6 memory 5.1, graphics 5.9, game graphics 5.8, hard disk 5.2 pretty good stuff in there.
So you can see this is a nice machine. I'm going to come back to it in more detailing video. But I just wanted to do a quick unboxing video.
So that’s the HP machine, in future video I’ll look at the things like battery life. Thanks for watching this video, so if you want to win this machine watch the DigitalLifestyle.com, and you’ll entries about this, other websites giving away this machines, there are 31 of these being given away. Thanks very much and I’ll see you on the next video, bye.
