This is a short video about the RPM Bumpers available for the HPI E Savage. The very first time I took my E Savage out, how much to break at the front bumper mount, you can see it here, this is the Stock bumper mount and this isn't close, as you can see, while I try to glue back up with some super glue and it just didn't work.
So, I'm going to get some more, and I found out that RPM make some upgraded ones. RPM, a well known aftermarket model parts company and they use some very good plastics which are very durable and you can see here that, we have the part that I have broken is here, we also get its bumper part, it fits on the front end which is quite nice and on the rear we got a small bumper part for rear and similar mount and these are said to be very durable and much stronger than the stock item and also make that look a little bit nicer.
Here there are added advantages. They have a small mount for the switch, which moves the switch from a vulnerable position on the mount down here, this is on the rear of the car to a position on the rear shock mount, which takes it apart of the way and gives it some protection, I love for these to the car.
Here the bumper is fitted, I fitted them and tried them out and they are very sturdy and stable, but I do move a little here. They are spaced, they seem a little bit thin, bit narrow but that's not the problem in use. The bumpers are very stronger in the front, the chrome just scratch a little but that's all expected when crushing on Tomac.
That’s the front bumper there and here's the rear bumper. Again nice and solid, hasn’t broken. You can see the switch mounted here, there's small plate up, it's here and the switch fits behind it. I had to put a couple of spaces between the plate, screw mounts just because my switch is not the standard -- the savage switch is slightly deeper.
