Dr. Rick Mizuguchi: Calen, in dermatology, alopecia means hair loss. So whenever you lose any amount of hair, we consider that hair loss. It's interesting because until you lose about 50% of your hair, clinically, you don't even notice that you have lost hair but it’s still considered alopecia. Calen: I am Calen.
