that is not a faux hawk for long hair, i have long hair and when i do a faux hawk it looks better than that.

Hair Tutorial: Faux Hawk for Long Hair

Faux Hawk for those with long hair, Straighten your hair. I use the Nanotitanium Babiss Pro from beautychoice.com. I suggest using a hair protective spray before hand. I haven’t seen my hair this silky before, so I got excited. Part the middle section of your hair, and clip in place. Tie the rest of your hair away from your face. Take a chunk of hair, hair spray. I just start teasing. It can get tiring, but just keep teasing. You kind of get a work out of it, see. Continue with the next chunk of hair. Be sure to tease well, about two minutes at least. Shout out to xteener for the dandy teasing technique. Okay we’re getting there. Gently smooth out the hawk. Smooth out and pin back your hair, hair spray all over. My version of a Faux Hawk.
