Hello friends and welcome to our third installment of Mogul V man V effects. We team up with threadbanger.com to tackle one of your requests. Vampires! Big Feet!
[Music Playing]
With the help of Rob and Corinne this week we are going to show you how to make the complete Big Foot costume. This effect was requested by CooCoo06, Dave M, and Crazy productions. Thanks guys. Because these Mogulers are not dirty rich like I am, let us spin the wheel to determine what our modest budget will be. Barry, spin the wheel!
Yes master.
An old pair of shoes, an old wig and bald cap, some brown make-up, some crepe hair, some old newspaper, a foam head from my vast supplier of foam heads, a few spray can lids, a bottle of spirit gum, some liquid latex, and some modeling clay.
Stevie, there is only room for one robotic son in this family and that is me.
This week the threadbangers and I are splitting up the bill. They will be making the first suit so I can concentrate on the feet, hands, and face. The face will be a latex prosthetic similar to the fish man but more ape like and with a ton of hair. Also we will have some special shoes modified to be big feet.
Super Time Lapse
Just like with the fish man, I am going to build up the basic shape of my big foot face on a Styrofoam head with some clay. As I move in for detail check out the large nose, menacing eyebrow ridges, a numerous creases. He has got a face like a catchers mitt.
Once the clay sculpture is done it is latex time. You should apply seven to 10 thin and even layers of latex. Once all the layers are completely dry just powder and then carefully remove your new latex appliance. Now, onto the feet. Originally, I was going to sculpt the toes add a foam and glue it on to some old shoes but I could not get my hands on any foam thicken enough so I decided to wad up a bunch of old newspaper and form everything with masking tape. It is sort of crude but it looks okay and it is easy and cheap.
Once we have the basic foot shape I added some plastic nails cut from old spray can tops. Hot glue these in place and then add a few layers of liquid latex around the toes. Next, add a fancy paint job. After that I used some hot glue to attach some left over fur I got from the threadbangers.
Now that it shoot day, we can start transforming Jacob. Step one a bald cap, step 2 darken around the eyes then use some liquid latex to apply the half face prosthetic. After that it is some make-up and then on to hair. Starting on the sided, I use spirit gum and attached two different shades of brown crepe hair.
Once I got to the top of the head I realize we did not have enough crepe hair so we took our old Kevin Smith wig and decided to use that on the top. With some trimming and gluing of crepe hair, it blends together pretty well. For the hands, I just used some brown make-up and some more crepe hair and just like that intern, Jacob is nearly a Big Foot.
To find out how he gets his fur coat make sure to watch this Friday’s episode of threadbanger.
And now let us take a look at our test film trailer. The full version comes out tomorrow.
[test film]
All right everybody it is my turn to tell a story. I am going to talk about the Sasquatch.
Come on, the Sasquatch is not even scary. He is scary all right and he is real.

Watch Indy Mogul, subscribe, and make films.
What? No, we will not see Beverly Hills Chihuahua. No you picked the movie last time and it sucked, around in the chords.
And do not forget that if you want to find out how to make this first suit you have got to watch Rob and Corinne’s episode this Friday on threadbanger.com.
If you need to eat someone’s flesh, you could always use beef jerky. If done right, it can look convincing and it tastes good.
