Female: Trick or treat!
Male: What are you supposed to be?
Female: A fairy!
Male: Where are your wings? No wings, no candy.
(Music-Playing)
Female First you need four identical wire hangers.
Two pairs of old tights,
Some wide ribbon and sturdy twine,
Water base glue,
A little glitter,
And old paint brush,
A pair of pliers,
And your scissors
(Background Music)
Okay, firmly hold one of you hanger. Disconnect the top parts and make it as straight as possible, using one of your tools that need.
Hold the end and each hand and bend the wires to the ends cross at the bottom. Then, bend the ends over each other and repeat with the other hangers.
Now take one of the pieces and shape it.
(Demo)
You want to like this!
Next, shape the other two pieces so you end up with two tops and two bottoms. Take out the twine and tie reinforcement at the joint of both pieces.
Place them together like so, and tie them round and round until they are really sturdy.
Now, take all the pair of tights in stretch the leg down over the bottom piece like you are would if you were putting it on your foot.
Stretch the tight and cut it.
Pull the tight again and tie an knot so it will not come up.
Use the other leg and do the same to the top piece.
Now, repeat all those steps to your other top and bottom pieces. Then, position the two half together and connect them by circling the twine around that every possible angle.
When they are securely connected, we shape the wings so that they are even, then take out your ribbon and cut two very long equal strands.
Take ribbon one and place it around the wings mid section so the ribbon is at equal length on both side.
Tie a knot on the side that will be touching your back and repeat with ribbon two.
When you are done, the back should look like this,
Then slightly burn the edges of your ribbon so they do not break.
Next, get a plate, your glue and glitter.
Paint the glue anywhere you want.
And apply glitter.
Have repeatedly to get the glitter off parts you do not want it on.
Yehey! Freaking fairy wing!
You can tie them on a bunchy waist but this is the easiest.
And you are set for launch!
