Speaker: An insurance adjuster is not always concerned about whether that you are getting a fair shake.
Jeffery Gould: Many people that are sent out by the insurance company, be they contractors, employees of the insurance company, vendors the insurance company uses, they are really working for the insurance company.
David Pisanic: Who pays for me to do what I do? The insurance company. Therefore I am trying to do the best job that I possibly can for the insurance company and that means paying you not one dime more than we have to.
It's up to you to insure that everything that you are entitled to has been claimed. It's not the insurance company's job at that point to explain to you, what your benefits are?
Jeffery Gould: You are responsible for your own claim; the insurance company is responsible to adjust that claim.
David Pisanic: They might say to me, I will give you the authority to settle the claim for $5000. If I can settle for $3000.00, that makes me look like a hero to the insurance company and they want to hire me again. It's all about settling as cheaply as possible. I want you to put your name on the dotted line for as little amount of money as possible.
