Hey guys it’s Ren from makeup by Ren-Ren and today I’m going to do this look which is the Hayden Panettiere celebrity makeup tutorial and if you want to see the tutorial stay tune for more.
Okay guys, so as you know I’ve been asking you all for requests for celebrity makeup tutorials and I’ve got enough plenty request to do Hayden Panettiere, and if you don’t know who she is. She is the cute little blond teenager on the hit series the Heroes, and she was also in Bring it on two I think, but she’s really beautiful girl and I did a little research and googled her and I found that she always seems to have a very Sunkist look, like shining skin. I mean she’s a Neutrogena ad girl so, she has that great skin, and she always seems like she has that cool rim kind of subtle smoky eye. So I decided to do that. This kind of smoky eye is actually really, really great. Basic smoky eye in which is, pretty much smudge black eyeliner with brown in the crease and then of course I did a pink shimmer lip, but I know she likes to wear as well. So today, I’m going to be using primarily the cosmetic, which is called After Glow cosmetics, and this is what the packaging looks like. And I’m using today the colors Sunset that is the minimal, mineral foundation that fits me perfectly and the really cool thing about this cosmetics line is that it’s completely organic. So I know a lot you guys are trying to switch to that. I know I am keep trying to head more over and target products and it’s really good for you and it pretty well as well.
So, I’m going to show you how I did the tutorial using mainly these products and if you’re interested check out afterglowcosmetics.com and stay tuned for this tutorial
Okay, so first you going to apply a neutral base, I’m using Mac’s soft ochre paint pot, I’m just applying it to my entire lid, up to the eyebrow with my clean ring finger and then put a base shadow on pretty much a neutral shadow all over the lid to help blend later and I’m using bare eye shadow from afterglow cosmetics, and I’m going to use just whatever black eyeliner and lining the top lash line, doesn’t have to be perfect cause your going to smudge it out later. Then I’m going to use after glow cosmetics raven powder eyeliner with this pencil brush to smoke out that line and give it like a smoky look and just kind of blend it upwards, blend the powder up into the crease of your eye. Smudge, smudge, and smudge. This powder is actually really great for setting eyeliners or smoking it out, and we’re applying bronze clout to the crease. I’m using after glow cosmetics cocoa powder eyeliner with my 217 brush, and even though it’s an eyeliner powder you can definitely use it for eye shadow as well.
After that, we’re going to go ahead and line my water line with the same black eyeliner, and then I’m going to set it with the raven powder from after glow cosmetics so the liner stays all night and they also kind of softens the line. Then I’m going to use the coco again underneath my lash line to kind of bring the brown color all around my eye and act, acts that smoky look

Okay now we’re going to go ahead put that bare eye shadow into the highlight area and I’m going to use the after glow cosmetic ash for my lashes. And I’m actually going apply Falsies you don’t have to but I did, and then I’m going to set it with after glow cosmetic pure soul mascara, which is going to blend in the lashes and into each other. This mascara is pretty much more so far natural look so, if you’re trying to get a dramatic lash look I will probably go with something else. Next I’m going to use, after glow’s mineral foundation sunset which is a perfect match for me, I’m going to use my favorite Posh kabuki brush, and just buff it into my skin. If you want deeper coverage you can wet your brush a little bit and it will just kind of offer more coverage and Hayden Panettiere loves that bronzer so I’m using, after glow cosmetic bronzer in deep which is actually really great color for me and for my skin tone and it’s also kind of a good contour color. So I’m using the after glow cosmetic glow mini kabuki and putting it on under my cheek bone, on my chin, just kind of adding that bronze look to my skin which is great since I’m becoming a lot paler for the winter.
Next go with the shimmer blush, I’m using Dusty Rose by After Glow Cosmetics. Applying it to my cheeks and up into the temple, give myself a little bit of color, and I’m applying over, over and above the bronzer and you get the glowy skin look use whatever shimmer powder. I’m using mineralized skin finish and petty coat and applying it on top of the brush and a little bit above on top my cheek bone, a little on the chin, a little on the forehead and as for the lips just line you lips with a like pinkish color of a pencil. I’m using Mac lip pencil dervish. Line the lips, I’m going to actually also fill them in so that way that, the lip gloss lasts a little bit longer and then go with a shimmery pink glosses Sugar Trance from Mac. From back in the Puffy collection I’m bringing it back and, you want them its going to be kind of shimmery and fresh and pretty this a really great shimmery pink color. So that pretty much it.
