Cynthia Sass: Sunflowers come from the heart of magnificent sunflower. One sunflower can
contain up to 2000 seeds. They’re one of the very best sources of vitamin E on the
planet, a powerful antioxidant that basically protects you from head to toe. And
they also have magnesium a mineral that keeps your bones and nervous system
healthy. In the shell a serving is a quarter cup but hold is two tablespoons which
you can see is actually a pretty generous amount. They add flavor crunch and
nutrition to everything from bake goods to chicken, tuna or tofu salad. They’re
