Leanne: Hi I am Leanne. I am with Ford models. I am on the fitting board and the commercial print board. I am going to share with you a really great little snack. It is nutritional. It is sweet and it is really good for you. It does not use crazy sugars and all that sort of stuff. It is really simple. I am a big person for nutrition and for organic foods.
This is organic almond butter and it is just crushed almonds. That is all that is in there. I use it instead of peanut butter because peanut butter tends to have even if it is organic, it tends to have palm oil and a few other ingredients to kind of hold it together. Almond butter, you do not need that. Agave nectar is a great sugar substitute. It is sort of like honey but it is a little sweeter.
It breaks down in your body very slowly so it is great for people with diabetes or people that just want to control their sugar intake. It does not spike your blood sugar levels so it is much easier on your body. Of course, cinnamon. Cinnamon is a great spice to have in the kitchen. So I am going to start first, I have sliced up apples. Organic gala apples which I really love. They are sweet on their own. I am taking my almost butter and I am just going to drizzle it a little bit on my apples.
Now, the agave nectar, you do not really need a lot of this because it is pretty sweet. So you just drizzle it on. Now the cinnamon. Such a great little spice. Little cinnamon on top. This is a great snack. You have got apples, you have got protein with the almond butter. A little agave nectar for sweetness and cinnamon. It is delicious and it is really easy to make.
