So, I am going to rest actually. I am going to go one and I am going to start on the a of that first speed. 1, a, and I am going to play four notes to the next speed D, Bb, G, Eb, with those fingers, 1, A on the F. I need your 3rd finger on the D, D, Bb, G and then I'll cross over with your 3rd finger to the Eb. Again if you are practicing slowly this is stuff that you can figure out, only fits your hands certain ways, F, D, Bb, G, Eb.
Now I am going to use a little bit of a lick. We have got D, Eb, D, B, again so as first notes. We have got F and then we are fitting these four in, right. We have, D, Bb, G, Eb, right I am just going down on the arpeggio. Those are the next four notes, 1, 2. Here's how you count this one solely. You have to use E and a, usually we have 1 and, for triple 3 we have 1 and a, for four notes in one beat, we have 1 E and a. So, 1 a, 2 E and a, 3 E and a. We still have two more beats in the measure 3, 4. 1, again F, D, Bb, G, Eb, the next four notes the new ones, D, Eb, D, B, D, Eb, D, B; D, Eb, D, B. Fourth beat just has 2, C, D and then to F.
Go ahead and just watch me, 1, I am going to try to swing it, 2, a 3, 4, 1, a 2, a 3, and a 4, and a 1. This is something we probably play a little faster. It's really hard to play perfectly slowly, 1, a 2, a 3, and a 4, a 1. We are trying to make sure those fourth swing, a solo beat, follow it on.
So, if you see me do with the beat, you have got to get to that D on time: 1, a 2, and a 3, 4, a 1, 1, a 2, and a 3, and a 4, 1. That's the arrival point. F, D, Bb, G, Eb, D, 1, 1 a 2, a 3, and a 4, 1, there, slowly 2, a 3, a 4, a 1, a 2, and a 3, and a 4, a 1, 2, 3. Last time, 1, a 2, and a 3, 4, a 1. Good job!
