So I’ve got a nice surface over here, let’s just going to get some flour down, all right. Get my pizza dough. Olah! My local dude and get it right out into our surface here. You could do some of the grill too in the summer thyme, do it in the oven. We’re going to do on the grill today so I can show you how yummy it can really truly be for you. So make sure you have enough flour if you want to go overboard.
And I just go ahead and start flatten and get out. Now you don’t want to overwork this because we’re going to end up leaving in our ingredients. So just get it nice and flat. Give yourself a surface. And that’s it. We’re comfortable with that. I’ll come over here, get my red onion, my thyme, my rosemary, right in the center. Then I’m just going to fold it over and start working it in. and this is going to be so yummy.
Now you’ll know when you’re kind of like at the end of your kneading. When you just can’t knead anymore, the glutens are going to tighten up when your pizza dough and you’re going to feel like it’s thymes up for your kneading process. At that moment, that’s when you want to kind of pull your little self together, get all the dust off of you, and get a little bowl. And then let it rest for a second. And that’s what I’m going to do after I get my little elbow grease into it.
All right, so this is all in there. I need business going on. We’ve got the bowl here. what I’m going to do is just hit it with a little bit of oil so it doesn’t stick like it did to that bag. And I’m going to let it rest for a little bit.
This is our pizza dough that’s going to turn into a yummy herb flat bread that we herb up ourselves with some rosemary, the lemon thyme, and then I hit it with some red onion. Remember we knead it in then just kind of let it sit in the bowl with some oil so it wouldn’t get all stuck to the sides of the bowl. And now it’s good to go for the grill.
So just give a brush on one side. And this side we’re going to put down the grill here. This is a super simple recipe. I mean why, because look, it doesn’t have to be lemon and thyme. It could just be regular old thyme. It doesn’t have to be rosemary. Got basal, oregano, some dried herbs work just as well.
All right, so I’m just going to get this right here onto my rolling pin and transfer over to my grill. I’ve got preheated here just going to get it down, and make sure I check it in a few minutes and get it ready for a flip.
I want to go ahead and brush it now so I can flip it. And then, I’m going to make a really yummy, quick garlic butter sauce. And that’s all that’s in it is garlic and butter.
All right, baby. This is our flat bread here, rosemary, and thyme, and fuse with the red onion. I just brush over our garlic butter just garlic and butter. It’s a very simple recipe, and a little bit of salt. And this is a great, great recipe for you got that pizza dough from the freezer section of your grocery store.
Just go ahead, bring it home and throw some fresh herbs into it. man let me tell you, like I said before, you’re going got have a really hard time just eating one of these.
