Chris: My name is Chris, I'm 28 and I'm from Hutchinson, Kansas. My question is should I be concerned for having loose and frequent bowel movements? Toomas Sorra: Well, Chris if you are having more than three bowel movements a day that would be something that probably needs to be investigated. People can the normal bowel movement pattern is told to be a bowel movement every two to three days to the other extreme two to three bowel movements a day. So if you are having two to three loose bowel movements a day that's okay but beyond that you should see a doctor you probably need to be investigated.
