Hitting the Ball Square in Golf

Hi! I am Rich Hogan, from the Whitetail Golf Resort. In today's video, I'm going to teach you how to properly swing the golf club. All good players, have one thing in common, they get the golf club back to the ball square. Each time the player takes the club away for the golf ball maybe in a different direction. A player may take the club inside, the player may take the club straight back going away from the ball. They may even lift the club a little bit and go outside the line. But what they have in common, is that they get the golf club square at impact.

The more square that club faces at impact; the better result you're going to get, at your flight on the golf ball and a better direction of the golf ball. Each player may do a little bit different Jim Furyk, is going to be a lot different than Tiger Woods. But each person, each of those two gentlemen, as they get the golf club back to the point of impact, that club faces square and what I mean by that it's on their target line and it is square to the line. It's going to keep the ball flying down that particular target line. More players gets the club square at impact, the better result they're going to get. So now we're going to move into the grip portion of the of the golf swing.
