Happy Holidays! I am going to create a very beautiful buffet that is will be so easy for you to be
able to remake or at least be inspired you know get a few ideas out of this. When I set up for the
holidays one of the things I am certain not to do for myself is overwhelm. I never or feel like
even though my house looks like a Christmas explosion which I love it that way. I don’t ever
want to feel like I have to remake everything from scratch so I usually start out with something
that’s already set up. A sideboard, a buffet that kind of thing, the mantel I’ve got basic things and
it sometimes faults things off and just add new things in. So, this is a great example the
sideboard, all I had on this sideboard we’re just stocks of books and candles that for the things so
that easy for me to shuffle loads or somewhere else and you know where to stock the books in
my life.
I kept the lamps on the buffet, these are very groovy 70’s lamps that I was never looking actually
for this when I found that I love out there this gorgeous gold and this cool tapestry shade and I
think this pretty when this mix. The red buffet, this antique zebra rag we’ve had for ever and I
even think this is going to be interesting in the mix and I know it typically wouldn’t probably
want it combine some of this but I love the cool to feel of it you know it’s easy going and it adds
some interesting twist so I’m going to actually put this together with you and create a beautiful
Christmas eve buffet. I always cut a bunch of greens for the holiday, I literally go down and
drive with the boys with my big cutters and my really, really oversize gloves. Whenever I cut
greens put on gloves because like seeder and thing like pop in your hands so I actually cut this
and they’re so pretty, I leave them very, very long and really all I do is I just start you know
laying not to like the old house on fire.
I’ll just start to laid them down just to kind to get it felling for you know where I am going and
sometimes it takes me a little maintaining around to see the placement but I like this kind to
come off of the buffet to it and that’s really pretty but they smell so good and they’re so beautiful
and they will really stay green for quite sometime. So you know it is simple as that, I have this
oversize candle holders which I actually took up that mantel I can loss the golf now. And you
know these are very pretty just anywhere in here so you know this nice like this and I got a
shorter one here too. And you know you can see, what I love that kite that is candle holder spray
so this other stuffs I kept around in the basement you know these things I’ve have for a long
time. I will admit they’ve got a little tune on of the use but who cares, now once they get close
they can you know you always say that.
And I love the pop of color in this mix because it’s kind of a neutral story but these are beautiful
this is an angel that I have had forever its beautiful carve angle. I keep this out year around but I
love it because I love the way it mix the thing with everything. So I am going to nestle this
beauty in here, these are so interesting its funky little branch in some things. You know they can
go to the craft store and I know all texture have an isle that is sort of this Christmas explosion if
you well of this sort of stuff. You know no time for me to glitter the branches so these are
awesome, the other cool thing about them is they are very bendy so I can you know kind of do it
at all. I’ve use this Easter, Halloween and now it’s Christmas, at Halloween there that’s scary
trees but the gingerbread have. So this is cool and I like a little bit of sparkle putting to the next is
really pretty. This literally has last years— would still own it and I don’t care. And I don’t know
why I use it for last year but I founded in one of my boxes of stuffs and is just pretty hanging
them. Ant was so fast and that’s literally how I put things together, I gather a bunch of stuffs and
I used to set it down on the floor and then I start kind of creating a mix and I see how it comes
together and sometimes they move things around a little bit but all move and it turns out
beautifully and it’s always magical.
