Hey and welcome to my Hollow Inward Snare Tutorial. This would be a very quick tutorial just to teach you how to the Hollow Inward Snare. So, basically the positioning in you mouth is the exact same way as you would do a regular inward snare. The tip of your tongue will touch the ceiling and the air should go to the side of your tongue. So, for example, the regular inward snare would sound like this (Music playing) correct. But then in hollow inward snare, you need that high pitch sound. So, what you do is pretend you are scared and then you like, hiccup, so you go (Music playing). So you have try and make that sound but it has to be inward not outward.
So, when you combine in that inward sound with the positioning like the exact same way as the inward snare, you should get something like this (Music playing) all right. You should get that really crisp sound. So, I am just going to add some side notes now. You can change the pitch of your hallow snare depending on how you position your mouth. So, like the more oval shape or the more like flat shape your mouth is you get different sounds. So, I will give you some example right now (Music playing) or something like that. I am not that good with it but, that is just the dyes of it. And also, you can also raise and close the mouth at the end of the snare just to make that P sound (Music playing). So just try those things out and you should be able to do it in like simple beat such as this (Music playing). All right, hopefully that help and happy beat boxing.
