Moving on and finally that leads things like smart phones and PDA’s. I personally use a smart phone, let us say, there is a model I actually purchased over eBay. It is refurbished HTCSTA’s is what we call it candy bar phone. It is not very big but it does not have a flip cover anything on it but it runs windows mobile five. You know, why do I use a smart phone for? I use it to read my email and get phone calls. I do not use it to try to browse the web, I do not try to read word documents or compose documents on.
If you are going to do that sort of thing, my opinion have a laptop. Smart phones really are not there yet, the screen is too small way for me. I think that at the end of the day, you want to get the right tool for the right jobs. Smart phones are great for getting that email and you know making place in phone calls. Yes, they got lot of nails, got built in cameras and you can have your music and all that on them.
And they are getting better you know and I think the iPhone, we do not have them really available in our area yet but the very minute they are, I probably look very, very closely at the iPhone. And there is some competitors coming, you bet, they are going to be very, very good in the windows world.
So, I do not think iPhones is going to stay the only real game in town for a whole lot longer, but it is certainly a wonderful product in the people I know that have them absolutely love them. And of course now, they work with exchange, so you can get your exchanger, you know your outlook contacts, calendar, email and all of that through an iPhones. So, you know that is coming.
If I need to, I have older PDA. I have had palm palates when they were out the palm. So, I started with the palm 3, PD couples PDA’s and I have a factory refurbished, here I go with refurbished, right. That is what I buy, refurb whenever possible.
I got a factory refurbished DelAction 30 runs a version of windows mobile and you know I can read word documents on it pretty well, PDA’s that sort of thing. I very, very sell the music that basically since on its charger most of the time because again to me basically for maybe looking at the calendar, or my email or something like that. That is where I use a smart phone for, as far as I going to compose documents, read documents, I want something bigger and I want to feel more comfortable.
So, I think in ultra light notebook is going to be a better way to go than using a smart phone or PDA. But again that is my opinion and you know it may very well work for you but only purchase that I consider a laptop if the portability is there. Do not use one just because you needed, you know copy presentations and that sort of thing over you know. That is what they make thumb dries for do not spend money, you know unnecessarily on technology.
