Alice Chan: This is some picture from master bedroom, okay so your master bedroom I would imagine and take no offense. Female: Oh no. Alice Chan: Would underwhelm a buyer. Female: Oh okay. Alice Chan: Because it’s a little to block, okay it’s to plain so what I would like for you to do is give it a little because it’s more mission style furnishing. You want to create— because the master bedroom is one of those rooms that really silt. Female: Right. Alice Chan: So it’s one of the most important rooms in the house, you want to really give them some wild factor. So take this bed for instance they doubled up on the bedding and you know are you still living in the property or you house in the market? Female: Yes, yes. Alice Chan: It’s going to be a little bit of cork I’m going to warn you but what they did was they layered it. Female: Oh yes. Alice Chan: And when you layer it, it gives it a little more luxurious look like a hotel. Okay so like when you walking to like your red carpet and four season you just want to just jumping to bed right. Female: Yeah. Alice Chan: Because it looks so inviting. Female: Inviting. Alice Chan: So this is what you want you know so what they’ve done here is they have taken two comforters but on the bottom layer the other one on top so they put it a pattern on the bottom and a more neutral on top and then you pop up the pillows okay. And it could be pillows that are just decorative you’re not going to use them all when you sleeping you take them down but you are going to prop up you can even have separate set of pillows maybe that one that you use for sleeping at night you keep in the closet. Female: Right. Alice Chan: And you have the decorative one when you take out for showing okay so we’ve got matching champs to go with this set, we got matching champs to go with this set and we’ve got some decorative pillow to just give it a little more. Female: A little passage. Alice Chan: Yeah exactly. Female: And a little more interest. Alice Chan: And in this is jus the throw that they fold it and putting there and if you look at it visually it’s a lot more appealing. They’re texture, it looks really lash and luxurious that’s what you want to create in your bedroom so that’s what I would definitely recommend. Female: Okay. Alice Chan: It’s very nice and clean and neat but I would definitely you know add a little extra. Maybe even add a piece of art right above your bed here because it looks like it’s a voltage ceiling right. Female: Yeah it is. Alice Chan: And its being loss right there, there is nothing drawing your eye there at all. People are walking and you know they’re not going to think twice about it so what I would do is maybe get a narrow piece of art because this is not a very tall because it’s start of angle of that way, get the narrow piece of art here that kind of runs the length of the headboard and that will draw your buyers toward to that. And you can either rent the bedding but you can also buy bedding inexpensively and reuse it in your own home. Female: Right. Alice Chan: You know when you move because you can always use the bedding. You can buy something that you like but also something that has more patterns. Female: Right. Alice Chan: Yeah has more pattern and you can get bed in the bag like a bathroom beyond, you can go the Maxx ad you can go to a lot of places and get something really nice thatisn’t expensive at all. Female: I’ve been there in the Maxx and they have really good stuffs, they’re really quality merchandise that they didn’t sell in other much nicer stores and they made this just like over stuffs that they didn’t sell and they bring into marshal and you can get great prices. Alice Chan: You know what you can go to Wal-Mart these days and find some really nice things. It’s just the matter of finding the right things to go together and then really just adding a little extra punch to what you already have because this— Female: You’re right it looks kind of block. Alice Chan: Yeah it just too neutral so you want something a little more elegant to catch peoples attention. Female: Oh so like the bedding and stuffs. Alice Chan: Because if you’re looking at this price tag, because it’s so neutral you want to add some color. Female: Yeah as that all she had on your bag? Alice Chan: What is that you’re bedding? Female: No, I told you she’s the best that’s why. Alice Chan: We need some more pillows that prop up because you don’t necessarily want to see the slaps in the back of your bed. Female: Okay. Alice Chan: We want to prop everything up so almost those like a padded headboard in the sense. Female: Yeah it makes sense. Alice Chan: That will give a lot more and it will give a little more accent pillows. When you start layering together see how you get like a plain pillow, one solid pillow and then you got something with pattern it really stands out it pops against the background and you definitely want to do that. Female: Yeah.
