Thanks for checking out fixmyrecipe.com Chef Billy Parisi here. Our new fix goes to Jessica of, well I don’t know either. Jessica where are you from? We want to tell everybody. She submitted a recipe for crouton hasn’t had a chance to make it wonder if I could walk her through, don’t worry Jessica we got you covered right here.
First things, first lets cut our nice fresh French loaf into one inch cubes, all right Jessica let’s transfer these to a big bowl here. All right Jessica now come some dry herbs. I like to use a number of different kinds were going to use basil, oregano, time, and rosemary. And of course let’s add a little more flavor some onion power, garlic powder and then were going to finish with a little parmesan cheese.
Season of course with salt and pepper. Jessica, to get that really nice golden brown were going to drizzled not pout in some extra virgin olive oil. All right Jessica, lets transfer it to a sheet pan that’s lined with parchment paper, spread them out there as best as we can. The smell is phenomenal, it smells really, really good, okay, were going to hit it in the oven on 350 degrees for about 15 to 20 minutes are really, really beautiful golden brown.
Oh, yeah, Jessica perfect. They’re not extremely golden brown but the consistency is flavor and the way nice and like crunchy is absolutely perfect. Jessica, so good and so easy, you can do this in your house. Just follow my procedure and you are going to be more than happy.
Jessica thank you so much for writing in, I’m going to make a quick salad and put this right on top and I cannot wait to get into it. Next time remember, if you have another recipe tell me where you’re from I want to tell the world that I know who you are. Come back tomorrow see our new fix of the day.
