How Car EGR Valves Work

Male Speaker: Well, some people on Youtube contacted me and they wanted to know more about EGR valves and how they work. There are three basic kinds of full diaphragm model, a full electronic server controlled model, and a hybrid model that uses electronic sensors and its diaphragm operated. Since, this car is a permitted car with a permitted design; it uses a diaphragm model with no sensors, just uses backing to control it. There is a big rubber disk in there like the big a flat gasket. I mean the spring and a pin often the size of my finger on the end and the pin gets -- hole by vacuum control from the motor that accesses a valve. That hole is attached to a pipe or part to the intake manifold in this model.
