Female Speaker: For what role does coconut oil have in treating cancer?
Bruce Fife: it's very interesting. The coconut oil has a very pronounce anti cancer properties for example, in one study researchers chemically induced cancer in a group of lab animals and the diet that they gave these animals was the same except for the oils. They wanted to test what effect different types of oils would have on the development of colon cancer. So the types of oils used included olive oil, corn oil, saffron oil, coconut oil and other. What they found was that all of these animals in the study developed cancer except those that were given coconut oil. Coconut oil blocked the formation of the colon cancer in these animals.
In another study, very similar, researchers were testing mammary cancer, breast cancer and again they chemically induced mammary cancer in these animals and like the other study, they gave them a diet that had different oils in it and all the animals in this study developed mammary cancer except those given coconut oil and the researchers stated, they looked, dissected the tissues and looked, and they said, they couldn't find any evidence of cancer in these coconut oil fed animals even though the chemicals that they gave to them were very potent. In another study with skin cancer, very similar thing is they applied a cancer causing chemicals on the skin of animals and within weeks, a tumor started to develop. However, if they used coconut oil in addition on it, no cancer develops. So coconut oil has very prominent anti-cancer properties.
Female Speaker: well for Melanoma, you would just put on your skin to protect your skin from sun, right?
Bruce Fife: Correct and I personally think people with Melanoma use it and have it dissolve the Melanoma basically.
Female Speaker: Thank you Bruce.
Bruce Fife: you are welcome.
