Evolution is supposed to work in tiny steps, like one protein made by a mutation being an advantage and thus causing the individual to outcompete other individuals and that trait being propegated. However in instances like a water dwelling animal making the jump to live on land it would need completely different breathing apparatus, even if it takes an amphibious intermediate step. A lung however cannot be formed by one, or even several concurrent mutations. Even if by chance a few proteins are generated that could go towards making a future lung, this would not be advantageous to the animal, and thus would not through natural selection cause the mutated genes to be past on and become dominant in the species. If anything, novel protein that go towards eventually producing a lung could inhibit the animal and cause physiological problems. Creators of influential media like this should think more about how they project their paradigms onto others.

What is their in science that supports any of this ever really happened? Recent studies in genetics only nullify any of this being possible. I know we have all been taught that this is the way life as we know it came into existence. So anybody that questions this is just stupid and ignorant. I ask you that believe this story to ask yourself why you believe it and study it for yourself. What I have found when I read the supporting views of evolution is terms like, "if this happened then this must be true" and then this statement is continually repeated to support itself. I dont want to believe anybody that says these types of statements. "If", does not belong in anything that is scientifically true. It must get changed from "if" to "when" for me to believe it.
