How Internet has Revolutionized TV Watching
Robbie Ferguson: What do you think of the internet the way things are going like I was talking to somebody, actually when we were just getting set up for a feature with Saint John Ambulance.
She’s saying how technology has gotten us to the point where anyone can broadcast and anyone can receive broadcasting from all over the world. It’s started with internet radio and it’s worked into now internet television programs, so you find content. You can use programs like Miro Internet TV, iTunes, and things like that and you’re able to actually subscribe and automatically download the shows. Many times in better quality than you are able to receive on your home cable TV.
Christy Burton: And the use of YouTube is phenomenal. Everybody is uploading their home movies onto YouTube.
Robbie Ferguson: Yeah, Agamoto just saying just think about how we get our news and how that’s been impractical.
Christy Burton: Right.
Robbie Ferguson: Definitely, and how many people used online new services. I actually subscribed to RSS for my news and it’s fabulous. I love being able to just pick and match whatever I want.
Christy Burton: Then watch the news whenever you want too.
Robbie Ferguson: Yeah, pretty much on your own time.
Christy Burton: Look at news videos whenever you want too.
Robbie Ferguson: Yeah, we’re not limited to a specific schedule, so that’s really nice but also no commercials, pretty much I mean across the board. I mean, there’s some commercials and stuff like that and there have to be because we’ve got to pay the bills so I’ll just say this episode is brought to you in part by Panda Security.
Christy Burton: Thank you Panda.
