Christopher Lepisto: Hi, I'm Doctor Christopher Lepisto, a practicing naturopathic physician in Colorado and graduate of Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington. Before coming to Colorado, I lived and worked in New Zealand, where I became interested in the amazing healing power of indigenous herbal medicines.
The herb that I am especially interested in is horopito, which has been proven to control yeast, which helps to maintain the balance of beneficial and unbeneficial bacteria in the body. Horopito is used in the supplement Kolorex.
So how does Kolorex work? First of all, it prevents and counteracts overgrowth of Candida, which supports overall intestinal health. It also promotes a healthy microbial balance in mouth and throat, which are very common places for Candida to overgrow. It also restores the beneficial balance found in intimate areas. It does this without harming the necessary, beneficial bacteria already in our bodies.
What is in the Kolorex capsule? It naturally restores the Candida balance inside the intestines. Now, Candida is a fungus that causes thrush and yeast infections. You'll recognize thrush for example in a child as a thick, whitish coating on the tongue, very commonly found. Symptoms an adult might experience include gas, bloating, lethargy and fatigue. Kolorex combats Candida by breaking it down into a form that can readily and safely absorbed by our bodies. Now, laboratory studies show it's more effective than oregano oil and olive leaf extract in helping the body restore its natural microflora balance. This means, that you don't have to take as much and it's more effective than these other natural remedies.
Kolorex Intimate Cream is used to alleviate irritation in the genitals. It does this by soothing sensitive skin in intimate areas by restoring balance of bacteria without harsh chemicals. It also does this by conditioning and replenishing the area. It contains manuka honey and lemon tea tree oil, which are both incredibly soothing and healing herbs also found in the cream. It also balances the pH, making the body more alkaline when it's typically in a more acidic state when Candida is overgrowing. The cream actually uses the active horopito, along with the tree oils and lactic acid to be most effective.
We also have another cream that's incredibly effective for a very common condition, foot and toe fungus. The Kolorex Foot and Toe Cream is designed for feet that are patchy from sweat, athlete's foot, or exposure to moisture. It is the strongest amount of horopito extract used about ten times stronger than that in the intimate area for obvious reasons. It also conditions, replenishes and balances the pH to make happy and healthy feet.
We also have a Kolorex tea. Now, this is a tea I drink frequently at shows because it's incredibly soothing, it's detoxifying and it's also got a nice warming quality to it. It has the horopito in it blended with other herbs, like phenol and lemon grass, which help promote a healthy microbial balance and include nice soothing qualities for indigestion and stomach pain.
