Hey everyone, welcome to your FX our monthly edition of BFX that brings you two awesome tutorials from the Indy Mogul community, instead of just one tutorial from this guy. Our first tutorial is going to come from Sam R and he’s going to show you how to make the look like you guy hit by a car the safe way.
Sam R.: Good day, Erick and all your Indy Mogul viewers, today I hope you’re excited because I am going to show you how to make it look like you’ve got hit by a car without using a stunt man. So here is that work, you need to film this scene, just walk in across the road then you need to wait until a car comes down the road. Now, you move to your computer and into editing program. I’m using adobe after fixed CS3.
Start but putting you a two lace of footage on top of each other and seeing the transparency on the top one, which should be the person down to about 50 line them so you can see where the person gets hit then set it back to normal. Then you want to create a mask around you’re person and make it follow into – looks the person and the care are both in the same shoot. After you’ve done you want to find the frame just before it get hit and save it as a further shoot left.
When you finish that imported back in to your footage and put it on top. Cut it down to just before you get hit which should be the same layers as the Photoshop and then you want to create masks around the person. After you’ve done that set a key frame for the position and the rotation and move it along with the casts so it’s looks like stand push by the car. If you got CS3, you can use the puppet tool to bend them and twist them so its not just this straight blank. Then you want to create a blur so when your hit him it is not all completely in the focus and you want to import your car hitting the sound effects and then you’re done.
Stay tune after the break for more clip and tutorials.
A lot of people out there can be bothered with making a whole tutorial, you just like making awesome special effect and you want someone to show it off. Welcome to the random effects montage. Roll it!
Our last tutorial comes in from Evan S. and he is going to show you how to doing improve telekinesis effect. Suppose to zoom out, it ruins the magic.
Evan S.: Hello, my name is Evan S. Extreme Productions and this tutorial is for a good telekinesis effect like this.
It must on it, I just playing things backward and look freely. All you going to need is an object and some like fishing line or like invisible thread to tie your laying of the two your object books are probably well and most of these effects happen, an edited. You need shot of your object, a shot of your actor to looking on screen, a shot of your object being, pull by line off the screen and a shot of your actor being thrown the object from a similar angle. Then edited all together and you will get this.
All right everyone that’s it for this episode, remember that we will be airing your FX the last Monday of every month and if you want to get on this show.
