This is fantastic! It demonstrates a subtle form of hypnosis. Penn "arguing" with Teller confuses the audience slightly, thus focusing their attention and making them more suggestible. And when Penn asks the audience member if the card's lost, notice how TELLER nods a "yes". This is a post-hypnotic suggestion! It probably isn't absolutely necessary, but it makes the routine more effective. Even without the nod, Penn's sudden affinity towards the audience member and the expectation that in order for the trick to proceed somebody must agree the card is lost also encourages him to agree, despite that his subconscious knows the nature of a magic trick is such that Penn and Teller will both know where the card is at all times.

AHAHAHAHAH... "The problem is dihydrogen monoxide ISN'T water" I love the way you passionately laid down that hoax as fact - you made my day, friend. I hope for your sake... actually I hope for ALL our sakes, that you weren't serious ;)

Dude are you dumb or something? http://en.wikipedia. org/wiki/Dihydrogen_ monoxide_hoax explains in detail about DHMO. and they show and prove that DHMO.org is part of the hoax. The DHMO hoax has been going on since 1989.
