Right now we’re going to be speak specifically about which you should wear to a wedding that’s not yours. The big thing that we remember about a wedding day is that you’re in the guest; it’s not your day. So really what you better do is to be in attendance, show your love and passion for the people getting married because of how you feel about the and ultimately it’s a party, you should be dressed for it, have a good time. So what we’re going to talk about, we’re going to talk about a couple of different options to really just looking at mainly season specific and looking at time of day because those are already the two things that are going to weigh in on what you decide to wear. So David is dressed right now for day wedding, spring, summer. He’s wearing a poplin suit. David: Oh yeah. Brian: Nice punchy tie. I love that tie. David: Thank you. Brian: Yeah you look good. David: Well in terms of bar open. Brian: Not soon enough. So he’s got a tan suit, poplin suit, cotton suit in. He’s got a great punch of raspberry shirt on. This looks like he is going to a festive occasion and yet he’s not overdressed, he’s not trying to outshine the bride because you know he tends to want to this one occasionally. David: That’s not my style. Brian: So just keep in mind, think about what time of the year it is cotton-linen really appropriate for spring and summer. Lightweight wool is also appropriate for those times. I’m wearing a medium weight wool suit. I can wear this suit pretty much ¾ of the year and get away with it. It’s brown which is not traditionally why would people consider this a wedding color but it’s got a nice pop to it, great tie, love the shirt with the wide striping on it. It’s a festive again; it gives the impression that you are there to have a good time that’s what a good part of what we’re trying to get across in regards to what to wear at weddings. Now if it’s an evening wedding say it’s after six then you want to kindly keep your color options to black or gray, or midnight blue or something along those lines. If it’s a formal wedding we’ve already had a conversation about what to wear for formal wear and you can take a look at that video to see what you should do. A couple of more things about weddings, if you the bride and groom decided that they are having a beach wedding and you have to wear a Hawaiian shirt, shorts and flip flops that’s what you wear, it’s their day. You wear what they ask. So take a look at the invitation, make sure that you have the right attire for the wedding because again it’s a party. It’s a good time and ultimately no one is going to remember truly what you’re wearing but they are going to remember the fact that you were there and you had a good time and that you were appropriate.
