How Often to Clean Your Workstation

Kelsey: Hi, I'm Kelsey from Dallas, Texas and I was wondering how often should I clean my keyboard and phone at work to prevent an excess amount of germs?

Scott Spillman: Kelsey that's a good question. Thank you for it. Cleaning equipment like a phone or a keyboard really depends on how many people are going to be using it and how often that gets changed over. If you are the only person using these pieces of equipment then its really up to you I would suggest that you consider possibly once a day during the peak of the cold and flu season. If there are multiple people using this equipment then I suggest that each time a new person gets on that equipment to wipe it off briefly and then go ahead and use it.
