I am currently in the process of remodeling my basement, and I was wondering if you could make a subfloor with treated 2x4 and attach to the concrete, than put down 3/4 inch 4x8 sheets of OSB? I have a slight water problem, and would think that this would allow the water to still drain to the floor drain underneath the subflooring. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Great tips - hope it may work for brick too. Would have been nice if Bob described the diameter of the split drive concrete anchor - 3/8? and just as importantly, the diameter of the concrete bit. He did tell us the diameter of the wood bit but it is possible that the concrete bit might be a tad smaller and therefore, I wish he had not left out this info.
