Dave Epstein: Hi, I am Dave Epstein welcome to Growing Wisdom.
And, I am going to introduce you little guy in her in the garden. It is a week before Thanks Giving. And you maybe thinking, there is not much growing in the garden but there is one little guy that likes to come up in the late in the fall and that if Fall Crocus and take a look at this,
How beautiful is that?
This great purple color and, some of the Fall Crocuses have a very different color. Some are yellow, you got some with a little bit of blue, this one is very purple, and just really, really nice looking.
Sort of interesting people will come by and wonder what is growing? They look just like Crocuses and no wonder why your crocus is coming up so early but actually they are doing it right on time.
So, something to add in your garden in spot where you can see them in the fall and it will keep your color going a little bit longer.
In addition to the Fall Crocus that I have just show, you there is also this double comatorium. And this is actually not technically a crocus but people called this a Fall Crocus because again, it comes up at the same time period.
But look how beautiful this is and this is a double flower here, really nice and thick.
What I do with these is I put them amongst my ground covers. Things that stay really low and the pop up through the ground covers so this is actually a low see them here with just gone by, and this going to pop up.
The leaves for this plant will come up in the spring. The flower comes up in the fall.
Comeback every week for all our videos here at Growingwisdom.com.
