It is scampered from the DuBuis Area Middle School. I am going to show you three quick ways to maintain and hopefully speed up your computer.
The first thing while I am on the internet, I can go to tools and choose the internet options. Under the general tab of internet options I can delete files, history, cookies, and passwords. I am going to delete files, delete the cookies, and you really only want to delete the history if you are willing to loose everything that is in your pull down menu.
Next, in the computer, I am going to the start menu. Select the control panel, this is on the Windows XP computer and under performance maintenance some people like to use the classic view but it does not bother me. Under performances maintenance, I am going to select free up space on my hard disk. The icon will appear and it will tell you if you have anything to recover that looks like I have about close to 900 kb, so I am going to press OKAY. If you have not done this, it could be in the hundred of thousands. So, it may take time 15 minutes to recover this.
And next, I am going to rearrange items. This is the Disk Defragmenter, you only need to do this about once a month and go hit and analyze. It will analyze your hard disk or the C Drive and it will tell you, you either do needed to Defragmenter or you do not. If you do press Defragmenter, if you do not you can close out.
Okay, that is the few tips but hopefully that will help you to keep your computer running clean. Thank you and have a great day.
