How To Coach Baseball: 6 Step Pitching Process

Let me explain why we use the six steps in throwing of a baseball. We begin with proper positioning and balance on the rubber. Our players will begin in a momentum by dropping back, which will create the movement in delivering a baseball. He will then pivot, place his pivot foot against the rubber so that he will use the rubber to push and deliver the baseball. He will load up and transfer his weight to one foot. He will collapse that leg. He will separate his hands to show up for the rubber. Release, deliver, and follow through.
