Male: What should the coach is realistically expect from this kids? Are they going to throw strikes all the time? I mean, should they know about the location where to place the ball, if we are only going to throw two-seam or four-seam fastball? What should they be looking at?
Male: Realistically at this level, coaches should be looking at probably two basic fundamental rules at this level. Number one, is the player strong enough at this level to compete or to perform a task that will require them to do?
We do not want to embarrass or put a player or child in the situation where he is very uncomfortable. So we emphasize encouragement to all levels. At this level, we are looking for just the development of the basic skills that are necessary to be successful in his performance.
We know that they never go to throw strikes all the time, but they are not going to throw balls all the time or that you know, we are going to make mistakes with areas and things of that nature. But the jewels that we set up and the continuation, remember, baseball is a game of repetition.
