I can't BELIEVE she said "if you see blood don't worry...." um...if you see blood you have probably cut into a NERVE and you will have to peel your cat off the ceiling before "apply septic powder". This is exactly why cats freak when people get out the clippers... they have experienced getting cut in the sensitive nerve attached to the nail. I usually just clip the very tip and so it once every 2 weeks.

my cat, Max, turns into the Tasmanian Devil when it's time for his nails to be clipped; not like your docile cat. I take him to the vet and there it takes the vet plus an assistant to swaddle him in a towel and hold him down with that Elizabethan collar on, all the while he growls and shrieks enough to wake the dead. Any chance I can ever win him over to do this at home?

The video was helpful for a calm cat who was either drugged or doesn't mind having it's nails clipped. My cat, on the other hand, does not care for the procedure. He does NOT bite, but he will wiggle and squirm making your hand and his paw unsteady for clipping. It takes 2 of us to hold him down to do the job...very quickly!

Really great if you have a cat as relaxed as this! Ours, and I''m guessing many others, wriggle and squirm! This video makes it look too easy. How about a demo with a friskier cat? :-)

I started to trim my cats nails when she was a kitten and have never had any problems. Start young

I want to know what drugs she gave that cat for him/her to simply appear to enjoy getting their nails cut. My cat turns into a tasmanian devil anytime I come close with clippers
