Good day folks, I hope you are being practicing and enjoying. We are on a few time to new turntable CD players, mixes and whatever and good for you. Alright, today we are going to do at least showing what I love which is Soul and there is only one person at the moment who we can class as a king of Soul is Mr. James Brown, rest in peace sir.
What is Soul music? Soul music hits you about that. The way of describing soul music it is not as deep and vibrant as gospel but then soul, good quality soul is in a class of its own, it is the sort of music that will make you smile, it can make you feel good, it will make you feel happy but then again Soul can also make you feel sad, it can also make you feel depressed.
A good Soul can make you cry your eyes out but then again you will just think well, I actually enjoyed crying my eyes out, so this is what soul is all about. Caught off from the soul music you will have a proper single, you will not have a sample, you will have proper instruments and caught a lot of hip-hop and RNB as well which is another generous soul music you have. Yes you have your drum machines, you have your keyboards etcetera but nine times out of ten you will have a real singing life, not a sample or anything like that. Enough of that, let us listen to The Godfather.
What I got hear is a selection CDs that from master cuts and I mean I have not been giving any money to advertise these guys but classic funk volume two, volume three it also do electro. Basically, what master cuts do is they sort of joined together, all aspects of all kinds of music and put long compilations. Now, the track we are going to be listening to is James Brown, it is from classic funk volume three, it is called, let a man come in and do the popcorn. Okay, so James love you and we shall plug this in and listen to some true solid soul and funk. Peace James.
Okay guys, I would say in the past 30 years we have lost three major people in music, we have lost the king of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley, we have lost the king of Reggae and we have lost the king of soul, okay Bob Marley, James Brown, Elvis Presley rest in peace and hopefully one day as well we will be doing Rock and Roll as a genre of music it is. In the mean time this is James Brown and this is me saying thank you for watching, keep the phase and just practice and enjoy. Bye.
