Alright folks, it is Johnson here. This is video number 6 and the selection I am doing on counting bass and praises and music. In video number 6, we are going to counting bass and praises in a music called soul music.
First of all, we are going to look at the bar, a bar you can just follow in time and beat with the music, 1-2-3-4, 1-2-3-4. Now this particular diagram is not a scale, it is just showing you in relation to counting, 1-2-3-4, 1-2-3-4. This is what we are going to hear is done as a praise. Again, this is only a diagram and it is not a scale. You will count to praise as follows, 1-1-2-3-2-1-2-3-3-1-2-3-4-1-2-3 and again 1-1-2-3-2-1-2-3-3-1-2-3-4-1-2-3. What I will do now, I play the music and you will see my fingers moving in relation to counting on to the beat regards while we are listening to the music. Off we go. (Music playing)
Okay, there I am sure you would count in time in beat with the music above. Now, we will do exactly the same but this time with praise (Music playing). There you go, showed you how to count praise and soul music. In future videos, what I am going to be doing is showing you how you can utilize this principle in counting, timing. Also it will show you how to have easier if you would be able to get a track into the next and take a track out of the mix in time with vocals, melody and bass line. Thanks for watching.
