Hi this is Jane with AFloral and today I got a quick and easy project for you. We going to be working with the ivy swag. This is an expensive real nice ivy swag that we have here, I fluffed the swag out a little bit and put wires around. I made a white satin bow and check our bow making video to make your own bow and I am going to wire this bow into the center of the swag, I am going to fluff it out a little bit here and I left my streamers kind of long, I am going to work those in through the ivy a little bit. Start with and nestling it down into the ivy a little bit.
I have chosen some white Lizzie Anthis blossom, it is a beautiful flower that we have here and it is traditional and fluffy and it has got three flowers on the steam, it has got a nice little bud and try putting those in first, snip that off, put that in my hot glue cot. I am going to stick it out towards the outside of the swag. Take a bud off my next stem and do the same thing, dipping it in my hot glue. Sticking that out toward the outside edge of the swag.
We always want the smaller flowers toward the outside in the swag, the larger flowers toward center because that is where our weight is. I am going to use one of the larger blossoms cutting it to quite a short steam to get a quickly in the glue cot and then put that right in the center of my bow and above towards the top of the bow a little bit. I am going to take the next sized flower which is kind of a medium size, one off of each one of these stems and you do not have to have too much of a stem on there at all because we are nestling it nice and tight inside the ivy and stick those on either side of the bow. I think the white gives it a nice crisp and clean look. Take one more of the larger flowers stick that on the other side cut of the swag. The bow is nice that you can glue to the bow and use three stems of this Lizzie Anthis. So it is a nice economical project.
You do not use too many stems of flowers and using the medium flower again here now, just kind of building a little stream of flowers with the larger ones towards the center and the smaller ones coming off to the ends. I will take my scissors, trim my ribbon off a little bit and then we have a really pretty white ivy swag.
