ARM TRIANGLE
The next step that we are going to work on, is that like gift wrap. We're going to start with arm triangle and knuckle choke. Eventually it's the same submission, we are just going to work on in a couple of different ways, in a couple of different variations on how to finish it. Alright, so set up this gift wrap, the same way that we just did, alright. I'll grab it here, instead of shooting this arm in, and through here, I am going to take this arm, I am going to replace my other arm with it, alright.
So I am going underneath his head here, I want to take my left ear, I want to put it on his left ear, like this, as low as I can go. I want to take my hand and stack it on my bicep, and then this hand up on his elbow, it's just like a rear neck choke, but we're going to do it from the front, it's called an arm triangle, alright. So we set up the gift wrap, I replace this arm underneath, stack it. I out my ear down, I can hold here on my head or here on his elbow.
Next thing I am going to do, is I am actually going to take my hips off of his, so I am going to get out of the mount, and I am going to put my hips, flat on the floor, be really careful, if you train this, your partner will go up pretty quick. Well, I am here, I just squeeze, so I get a tap. So again, I push across, I am hooking here, I hook as deep as I can. I don't want to try to finish this from here, I have to, I help his head up, I shoot it through as deep as I can, my ear goes across, I stack my arms, my hips come off, I squeeze, that's your arm triangle.
On the other side, we are here, I set up the gift wrap, help his head up, as deep as I can, my right ear on his right ear, stack and grab my bicep, I grab his elbow, I step off through my hips, squat on the floor and squeeze, okay? On this side, I set this up, I push it over, this arm goes around the back of his head, my ear down on his ear, grab my own bicep and by garbing here, grab it up on my own bicep, grab his elbow, unmount, hips flat on the floor, squeeze, that's your tap.
On the other side, up and across, I scoop the head on my bicep, on his elbow, pulling down, squeeze. It's a very powerful choke. A variation of this is called the knuckle choke. From here he is trying to push me up. I push this across, instead of me, if for reason I can't get his arm through, he's grabbing it, whatever, I can't his arm behind him, I keep this arm behind just like the gift wrap. This time I am going to make a fist with this hand. I am going to put my first two knuckles, my index figure, my middle figure, I am going to put those two knuckles on the side of his neck, with this hand I am going to grab my own wrist, and I want to be able to pull my knuckles to my by bicep, that's the motion, okay? I've gone behind this head. This knuckle -- these two knuckles go on the sides of his neck, grab my own wrist, pinch him together. So I am here, right here on the side of his neck, grab my own knuckles, pinch him together. You'll get a very quick tap out of this, this hurts really badly.
The other side, I pushed across, for any reason I can't get this arm through, he's blocking it or whatever. This arm gets through it, this one, makes the fist, side of his neck, grab my own fist, pinch my knuckles to my bicep, and you get a tap, it's called a knuckle choke, okay? Without the oddness that you can see what I am doing, I am taking this, putting it directly into the side of his neck, and this is going behind it. Now I want to pinch by bicep to my knuckles, and vise-versa. You can actually finish this submission from here, this is not really as tight, but it is really strong.
From side angle, we're here, he's pushing up, I'll push this across, and I am trying to get this arm under but I can't. He's blocking it, for whatever reason, he's blocking it with his hand, I can't get his arm through. So I shelf this one through, this one make the fist on the other side of his neck and I get the tap. Go in the other way, he pushes up, I push across and lay down.
I am trying to get his arm through, but he won't let me. So I shoot this one through, this one makes the fist, side of the neck, right in the side of his neck, right here, grab my own wrist, pinch together. That's your knuckle choke. That's the variations of the arm triangle, it gives you a really tight finish, setting it up to the gift wrap. We've got a couple of different finishes from there, we are going to go through a couple of different ones. That's when you are more powerful, which is the arm triangle, but the variation of the knuckle choke if he starts blocking.
