Our next escape from the mount is one that requires little bit of flexibility and little bit of timing but it's a great escape, from our opponent especially when he is riding really high up. He is got a good high base in his mount and we are going to deal with it for escaping it.
Our opponents are now at a good high mount. One thing that I want to do is I want to go ahead I want to grab on either side of his hips. I am going to bump my hips up to push him forward. When I do that, I am going to pull both legs up. We are going to show this from multiple angles. I am going to catch underneath his arms with both of my legs. So it goes like this. I am going to pushing him up on either side. I can even end in a leg lock if I want to.
So what I want to do I push from here and catch his hips and keep going this way. So I am here push up, and push with the legs and I can go straight now into the heel hook, into traditional leg lock. Going to a lot of leg locks. One more time, do the other way. We are here. Opponent has a good high mount. We are going to catch his hips. I like to pinch down with my elbows so that his knee can't go up any higher over my shoulders.
So I am here. I give him a good bump, I catch and as I push him with my feet. We are here I catch his hips. Going up, all the way over. I can pull this leg down and pinch, and go for the heel hook.
Different angle. We are here, a good high mount. Give him a good bump and catch his hips. Catch it with my feet roll up to the side. We are here. Catch him and I roll. I put that foot right on the ground on the other side. Go to a heel hook. Going the other way. Opponent has a good high mount. I am going to put my feet closed to by butts so I get a good bridge. I am going to catch his hips. Grab him with my feet. Push him up to the side. Here catching, all the way over. That foot is all the way to the ground. That's to pinch the knee together. So when I go for this heel hook, it's really all the way stretched in.
One last angle. Alright, our opponent has a good high mount. Feet enclosed to the butt. Elbow is pinching down as hard as we can, onto the hips. We can be here to protect our face until he starts to come forward. Then we catch him and we are just going to try to keep pushing him in the way he's going. So we are here, boom. Catch him, getting our feet up. So here, well that foot is flat on the ground. That's the heel hook.
One last time, going the other way. We are here, pinching down, good bridge, holding the hips. When we are here, we are going to bridge, catch, and roll, all the way over. And that one out, we are going to see that one again. Our opponent has a really good high base in his mount. We are going to bump him and pinch the elbows and keep his momentum going with our feet. So we are here bumping and catching, alright. Push this foot, flat to the ground, pinch the knees, tackle the heel hook.
That's a good back roll escape from the mount position. Requires little bit of flexibility and timing but it will catch a lot of guys off guard. You get a good escape with it.
