Alright, this next escape that we have is called a Foot Turn. This another mount escape. This is for when your opponent is riding high. We'll just talk about riding high and trapping the shoulders. We've got to have a way where if he is starting to move up on our mount, we have a way to reach through rolling. It's not the easiest sweep to do. It is one that a guy to need to know in case he starts riding high.
We're going to show this angle first because you got to see all my hands come up and track the foot. So opponent is in mount. He is little bit higher up than he normally is. We start with the Knee Elbow Escape. I reach through, I like to feed this foot to me either like this or like this wherever however he has got his foot. I grab here. I like to use this one to punch it up to me and grab it. When I grab it, I grab across if I can. If I can't, this works I use this on his hip but from here, I am reaching across and hooking, grab it here. Sitting up, now, my feet, bridge and I roll this way. I bridge and roll. That'll bring to his guard.
From this way, we're here. I'd like to go from the knee to elbow, scoop the leg, kick it up to me. When I kick it up to me, I bridge and roll over into his guard. Last one, here, knee to elbow escape. I step over and hook his foot. I feed the foot to me like this from my leg. Reach over, grab it, grab across, bridge and then roll just like the Bridge Roll Escape. Bridge and roll, up and over into the guard.
That's your Foot Turn Escape, and you calling it a foot turn because literally you're going to use his foot to turn his body. That's your foot turn escape from mount, when your opponent has a really high mount. He is riding up on you, you have to get out of there before he's setting up the submissions.
