The last escape that we want to work on is a variation of the hook and roll escape, from the side mount and the variation is going to end with an arm triangle. It's going to be in an escape all the way into a finish. We get a little more advanced now, but so should your skill level and so should your practice. So we are going to keep moving right along. Our opponent has us in a good side mount, we are going to take the arm just like we did and we are going to try to hook and roll just with the same exact escape, alright. So step up and over, we've hooked our leg, we are going to use this to chop, it's kind of like the scissor sweep all the way over, but I want you to notice this arm.
This arm is going to be what we setup the finishing hold with, so from here we hook and we go all the way over. As soon as I land I am going to keep my ear glued in tight, I am going to grab the arm triangle and I want to jump all the way over his hips. From here all the way up and over. As I put my hips flat to the ground and walk away from him, the position gets tighter and tighter.
One more time. We are here, we have stepped out for the hook and roll, we get here, we are going to chop, as we chop we are going to move this arm trap here, all the way over. As soon as we land, we are gluing this in tight, we are grabbing it deep, be careful when you are training this, the reason I am grabbing right here and not where I am supposed to be grabbing is, so that my partner doesn't pass out while I am explaining it to you. I am here I jump over his hips, I want to go all the way up and over and I hold my hips flat on the ground. So from here up and over, flat on the ground, now I slap him the arm triangle, I'll walk all the way up around him and that show it's very very tight.
With different angle, we are going to start now, I reach up, I hook the way. I go ahead, get the arm triangle all the way over, hooking it, jumping over his legs, flat on the ground and walking, a very very tight choke.
One more time from this angle. We are here, I have got to bump him so I can step in to get this leg. Look how we are going to chain a lot of these together. So we are here, we are going in right here and we are going to bump, bridge and roll all the way over. When we land, immediately slap your arm triangle on and jump over, hips flat on the floor, we're walking away. It's a very, very tight choke, that's a variation of your hook and roll escape all the way into a finishing hold.
