Alright, the next thing that we want to talk about is going to be the Knee Push, it is set up almost exactly like the elevator, it's a really simple set up, but if in case you, for any reason, can't get your opponent swept over with the elevator, this is one of the last in this series for a sweep you can get back in the other direction, okay.
So this angle, I have set up the elevator and I am trying to sweep Chat, but for any reason we will take bases out, he moves his leg back, for whatever reason I can't reach this elevator.
What I want to do is take my foot and put it directly on the front of the knee, I literally just put it directly in the front of his leg; now what I want to do, just like the scissor sweep, I just want to push this leg straight back and pull this arm. And when I pull this arm, notice that I am always controlling the posture, that's the number one rule in sweeping somebody from guard; you have got to control their posture.
So I push straight back here, and I sweep him over, alright. So I am trying to use the elevator to go this way, and he is going to base out, he moves his leg or whatever I can't get it, I am going to use the knee push to sweep like this way, alright.
So we are here, I am reaching for the elevator he moves, I immediately go to the knee push, I push straight back, and pull over; it's a really, really simple sweep. What you are going to find is you can get it on a lot of really good guys. It's so simple that its simplicity is what makes it effective.
So, again, just going through it, straight and without the elevator, just going straight to the knee push. All I do, is just reach up, and literally just stomp his leg up from under. So another angle, we are here controlling the posture I like to play the back of the arms, arm control, okay. I am here, I shrimp out, I put my foot -- I put my foot directly on the front of his leg and as I do that, I am just going to push it straight back behind, I just want to straighten his leg out.
So we are here, I shrimp out, my foot goes right there, I push the leg right up from underneath him, alright. Going the other way, we are here, I just sit up, my foot goes on to his knee, I am using that arm, I just pull it right out from under, and I use that to twist it, right over in the mouth. This called a nee push; we are going to show this --
