How To Do One Handed Cut

One Handed Cut: Learn It

This is an intermediate Sleight…it does take some time. Before doing this move…you must know the grip…hold the deck like this, middle and ring on bottom, thumb on top.

Now hold the deck with this grip, release pressure on the thumb…and about half of the deck should fall into your hand. But keep the index out of the way for now. Now you need your index…put it on the bottom of the fallen pack, push it up and keep pressure on it against your thumb. Now keep pushing the pack with your index…it should make the thumb release pressure letting the thumbs pack fall under the index pack.

Keep in mind, as soon as the thumb pack falls…get the index out of the way…letting the packs fall evenly.

This is a difficult move, just practice and soon enough…you will get it. Do not give up whatever you do…it may be hard, but it is possible.
