How to download your favorite TV shows?
Here is a little how to about automatically downloading your favorite T.V shows, I work 2 jobs and I am a full time college student so needless to say sometimes I miss my favorite shows. 2 shows I tend to miss all the time due to night classes and studying are lost and South Park. Once again I am a college student, so I can not really afford DVR from com cast. Okay, first things first, you need the torrent client any torrents client will do, I choose Utorrent. I believe it is actually pronounce new torrent but you go to youtorrent.com, there are multiple different versions, you can click on the stand alone and actually just down load one file and you just run it from anywhere from the computer or you can install it, might as well just go ahead and install it.
Once your torrent is installed, all you have to do is click on the RSS downloader icon. Just open up a little window with tabs like feeds, favorites, history and releases. Under the feeds tabs, you need to add some RSS feeds. Just go ahead and the same feeds I have added here.
This feeds basically tell your torrent you know what videos are available and you can schedule some downloads. Once we have put in the all this RSS feeds click on releases, here we see you know all this different shows anything with the clock next to it can be scheduled let me see I already have Lost and South Park scheduled so they have checked marks they have been already download it. I am going to go ahead and set up a schedule for myth busters. You right click; I am going to add to favorites. You can select the location if you like for the save to, if you do not it will automatically go to where ever you torrent has been told to save things as you normally do that in your torrents options and preferences menu. But you can tell its specific locations to move your torrents.
I generally just let it go to the main downloads folder and then sort it later. If you do not want to set up schedule for certain television show you can actually just go and right click on what ever show you want to watch, I am just going to right click myth busters again and just go to open, and so it will just bring up the basic you torrent screen whenever you are actually downloading a show or anything like that. Just basically hit okay and it will automatically set up your torrents for download. You can change this speed pf your down loads in you torrents get the downloads and the upload. It is always nice to share, you can not really turn off uploading but you can turn it down really low, just right click and it will shows you the limit or how fast you want your downloads or your uploads, and that is it.
Can you see all my staff here, I mean I download torrents pretty much non stop. It is easy and it is fast, I do not advocate that you download pirated or illegal materials. I still watch lost and South Park when I can and usually I will end watching the re-run of South Park on Thursday nights, or Sunday nights and lost, I always buy the DVD box sets.
