Editing Videos
Select video clip for editing.
Picasa video editing interface.
Picasa has several useful editing tools.
Cut or trim video clip to desired length.
Cut away unwanted footage and show only what you want others to see.
Use the In and Out buttons to select the wanted portion of the video.
You can also use these buttons to reset your In and Out points.
Use the “.” And “,” keys on your keyboard to step the video frame-by-frame.
The comma and period keys are to mark the exact spot where you want to cut your video clip.
…and also select the exact frame to take a snapshot
Take a snapshot from any point in the video by hitting the Take Snapshot button or Print Screen key.
A unique feature of Picasa 3:
Rotate video clockwise or anti-clockwise.
Use the Rotate buttons next to Photo tray.
Video rotate anti-clockwise.
You can add caption to video clip.
Caption, if selected will appear as subtitles when you create a movie with Picasa.
“Potter Wasp”
By default, the edited video stays where it is in the Picasa gallery, unless you want to export a file with the edits.
Click the Export clip to output a newly trimmed or rotated video as a compressed wmv file.
You can upload to Youtube with your credentials and editorial description.
