How to embed video to play on the iPhone
Hi there! Misty Allan here with microCHUNK.TV I wanted to talk about in embedding videos on your blog to be viewed on iPhone. Some of you may know an iPhone it does not have either flush or java so you cannot just embed YouTube video and have a viewable on the phone if you do that you get a little puzzle piece like this where the video should be. So in order for your videos to play off of your blog there is a few things you need to do on the iPhone that is. Let us set at again in order for your videos to play on your iPhone there is a few things you need to do.
One is you need to export the file as a .mov file, a quick time file and now some people used windows movie maker, I use a adobe premier elements and one of the options is to export as .mov file. If do not use adobe premier elements or pro or something to the last you to do that there is some applications you can use to convert a WMV file. One of them is called cinema forge and it is a free ware program that you can do that with, let see there is another that I had, but it does not work for you leave me a comment and I will tell you the other program I use to convert videos.
Once you get your video converted that needs to be uploaded. I use Tubemogul.com to do my uploading and that sends the video to YouTube.T
V and like seven other sites, I do not what they all are. But it uploads to multiply sites at the same time so you go Tubemogul.com and you upload your video, and you need to be sure to upload it to blog TV because that is a servers that going to host it and allow YouTube embed your video.
So once you upload the tubemogul and sent it up to blog TV you can then go to blog TV, blog.TV. And you can go to your dash board, let me show you, see if I can show you mans being [entertainment]. Go to your dash board and you can see I have video files here and then click on this over in computer magic, this is one that was send over from tubemogul. Down here the button is show the share link, if you click share and then click here on show advance options you can click preferred format and quick time .mov and then you need to change the mode to inline play back. And once you go update copy and paste code you can then copy this code and paste it in your blog and once you do that make sure it looks like on the blog. Instead of a little puzzle piece here where you cannot view the video you have this little quick time thing and you press play and it will actually just play the video for you.
So that is how you can get your videos to work on the embedded to work on your blog on the iPhone. Hope this helps, if you guys have any questions feel free to post a comment and I will see if I can help you out. Thanks, bye-bye.
